We are looking for an experienced Product Owner Lead with strong business acumen, technical depth, and Business Analysis capability to drive the strategy, execution, and scaling of our B2B Marketplace & SaaS platform ecosystem — including B2B Marketplace, TradeXpo (digital exhibition), and AI Matching Engine.

This role bridges Business and Technology, owns the product roadmap, and leads a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts to deliver high-impact solutions across the full product lifecycle.

What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)

  • A clear, prioritized product roadmap aligned with business goals is in place.
  • Development rework is measurably reduced through well-defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Measurable uplift in RFQ-to-deal conversion rate on the platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Strategy & Business Ownership

  • Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for the B2B Marketplace & SaaS platform.
  • Translate strategic goals into a structured roadmap and phased execution plan.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery.
  • Design and optimize business models: subscription, commission, pricing tiers, add-ons.
  • Define and track OKRs and KPIs — GMV, ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, conversion rate, RFQ rate, deal success rate, retention.
  • Drive product growth and revenue performance.

Marketplace & SaaS Expertise

  • Deep understanding of multi-sided platform models (buyers – sellers – operators).
  • Design and optimize the end-to-end B2B transaction lifecycle — from vendor onboarding and catalog management through RFQ, order, contract, to payment and revenue sharing.
  • Strong SaaS product mindset: multi-tenant architecture, subscription lifecycle, RBAC, feature flags, API-first design.
  • Experience designing for multi-role / multi-tenant systems where different user types have distinct permissions, workflows, and data visibility.

Technical Leadership & Platform Thinking

  • Lead product discovery and delivery for the AROBID ecosystem (B2B Marketplace, TradeXpo, AI Matching Engine).
  • Own end-to-end product lifecycle: discovery → specification → development → validation → iteration.
  • Own final prioritization of backlog and scope decisions; has authority to approve or reject feature scope.
  • Write detailed PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that are technically actionable.
  • Define detailed workflows, state diagrams, business rules, and edge case handling to eliminate ambiguity before development.
  • Work closely with Engineering (BE/FE/AI) to clarify data flow, business rules, and integration constraints.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Leads on system architecture design and third-party integrations (ERP, CRM, payment gateways) at a high level.
  • Facilitate requirement workshops and convert ambiguous ideas into clear system behavior and workflows.
  • Manage backlog prioritization and sprint planning in Agile/Scrum environment.

AI & Data-Driven Product Thinking

  • Define product logic for AI-driven recommendation and matching systems, including explainability requirements and rule-based override logic.
  • Establish product KPIs and funnel-based dashboards to measure real business outcomes.
  • Apply a data-driven mindset to continuously identify gaps, validate assumptions, and drive measurable improvements.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts.
  • Coordinate with Design to ensure UX is aligned with business logic and user needs.
  • Act as the key liaison between Business, Tech, Sales, and Operations.
  • Partner with Sales on go-to-market strategy; work with Customer Success to improve retention and product adoption.
  • Present and communicate product strategy, roadmap, and insights clearly to stakeholders and large audiences in both Vietnamese and English.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • 5+ years in Product Owner / Product Manager roles on digital platforms.
  • 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • Proven experience in B2B marketplace, SaaS products, or platform-based businesses.

Business Competence

  • Strong understanding of unit economics and subscription/commission-based revenue models.
  • Ability to convert business requirements into process flows, state diagrams, system rules, and edge case handling.
  • Data-driven decision-making mindset with strong conversion funnel analysis capability.

Technical Understanding

  • Comfortable discussing system architecture, API contracts, data models, and event-driven flows at a high level — no deep engineering expertise required.
  • Ability to read and understand API documentation.
  • Experience with multi-role / multi-tenant system design.
  • Experience with system integrations (ERP, CRM, Payment Gateway) is a plus.

Decision Authority

  • Proven ability to own and drive final prioritization decisions independently.
  • Comfortable holding the line on scope and making trade-off calls under pressure.

Communication & Presentation

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-team communication skills.
  • Ability to present confidently to large audiences in both Vietnamese and English — including product demos, roadmap reviews, and business pitches.

Soft Skills

  • Strategic thinking and strong ownership mindset.
  • High accountability and ability to operate in a fast-scaling environment.

 

Nice to Have

  • AI & advanced platform experience: AI-driven recommendation/matching systems, explainability logic, or expo/livestream commerce platforms.
  • Scaling experience: Built a marketplace from 0 → 1, or scaled a product to 10,000+ users in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Technical background: Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on technical foundation.
